Updated Website

I've just spent the evening re-working my website www.writemeaspeech.co.uk with the help of the good people at www.yola.com It's still a work in progress, but we are getting there.

The plan is to get everything up and running for New Year's Day. On this day several thousand people (mostly men, but some women) will awake to a beaming partner and the dawning realisation that they may have said something the previous evening that, if they had not consumed quite so much alcohol, may have been left unsaid for quite a few months more. I am hoping those four little words 'Will you marry me?' will lead to some of those people visiting and reading my website in search of a groom speech. And perhaps they'll go on to tell their best man and the father of the bride where they can find their wedding speech or poem. Hey, I'm not greedy, I'm just one speech writer and I want to do the best job I can. Just a few will do for me. So over the weeks up to and after the New Year I hope to keep this blog updated with tips and hints on speech writing for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, Christmas parties and just about any other event. There will also be a smattering of random thoughts when the speech writing inspiration is taking a break. After all, all speech writing and no play makes David a dull boy. Thanks for reading.
